Even before we focus on the specific item itself, one can’t help but feel more reassured buying from a brand like Garmin. Surely the most well-respected manufacturer of golf GPS equipment, possibly even the best golf GPS manufacturer, buyers definitely expect a lot from Garmin even before they read any golf GPS reviews or do any research on the particular product they are looking to buy. And with a mean rating of 4 out of 5 stars, averaged over a massive 121 reviews as of Q3 2011, it seems that the Garmin Approach G5 isn’t letting many people down. When buying a golf GPS, you need to be wary of the subscription fees that many manufacturers require you to pay for the privilege of using the GPS unit.
